GHANA visas take 2-30 working days (after appointment date) to issue in the embassy.
Please note that this embassy offers 2 express service types, 24 hours or 3 days along with a standard service. The standard service has no time limit for processing and can take 3-4 weeks.
The embassy will email you when we have lodged your application and again when it is ready to be collected.
The embassy require you to pay for your visa online during the application submission process. For those that cannot pay online, we can do so at the embassy for you – please include the visa fee with your payment.

You are required to pay for your visa online. The system will dictate the visa fee for you.
Print and sign you application and supply with one copy.
We can do the online form for you if required.
Original plus one full page copy of the ID page.
It must be valid for at least the next 6 months when you apply for the visa, with at least two blank pages remaining. The passport should be in acceptable condition. If not there is a chance your application would be rejected.
2 X Passport photos. The photo should be (45mm x 35mm) taken against a white background (the background must be white!). If you cannot get a photo yourself then we can print one for you from a digital copy.
Hotel booking confirmations.
Flight booking confirmation.
Copy of Yellow Fever certificate.
For non UK nationals, resident card or UK residence visa or utility bill.

The form is in PDF format. When you have downloaded the form, please print it out and fill it in by pen. Kindly ensure all the fields of the visa application form are completely filled before submitting. If a question does not apply, please put ‘N/A’. You must fill in the form with black ink and using BLOCK CAPITALS.
The following nationals DO NOT require a visa for Ghana: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cape Verde, Cote DIvoire, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Kenya, Lesotho, Liberia, Malawi, Mali, Namibia, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Singapore, Tanzania, Togo, Trinidad & Tobago, Uganda & Zimbabwe
Transit visas for Ghana are required by all except those as noted above and those continuing their journey to a third country within 24 hours without leaving the airport, provided holding confirmed tickets & documentation
Compulsory vaccinations: Yellow fever certificate required by all.
Recommended immunisations: Cholera, Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Malaria, Meningitis, Polio, TB, Tetanus, Typhoid & Yellow Fever.
Risks: Malaria exists all year throughout the country. Rabies.
